Keith Hodne - Owner, Supervising Sound Editor, Sound Designer, and Re-recording Mixer

"I'm a really good professional listener..."

Keith Hodne began his career DJ'ing some of New York City's most iconic nightclubs. His love for sound and music led him to his 25+ year career as a Supervising Sound Editor and Re-recording Mixer, spent building and running audio post-production studios for others in Manhattan. In 2022, Keith struck out on his own, opening Analog-NY, his boutique sound studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.

In the years since, Analog-NY has earned 4 Emmy nominations, with Keith recognized for Outstanding Sound Mixing and his editors, under his supervision, recognized for Outstanding Sound Editing — all for HBO's '100 Foot Wave.'

Keith has worked on some of the era's most critically-acclaimed documentaries, including 'O.J.: Made in America,' 'The Last Dance,' 'The Russian Woodpecker,' '100 Foot Wave,' and 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning.' His work has been recognized with multiple Primetime Emmy nominations, M.P.S.E. Award nominations, and C.A.S. Award nominations for Outstanding Sound Mixing and Sound Editing. 'O.J.: Made in America' went on to win the Academy Award for Best Documentary.

Keith has also built an extraordinary track record with the projects he works on: films and series he's worked on have been nominated for the Emmy for Outstanding Documentary in 5 of the last 7 years — including 'The Last Dance,' '100 Foot Wave,' and 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning' — with the majority of that streak achieved at his own shop, Analog-NY.

In addition to sound, Keith loves shooting Canon DSLR, has an extensive 12" vinyl collection, and a "healthy" sneaker obsession.
